We are reminding you about the pre-conference that will be organised under the aegis of our Platform, the African Regional Platform on Gender and Disaster Risk Management (G&DRM). This Gender and DRR event is in the context of the 8th Africa Regional Platform on DRR (AfRP)and it is intended to examine the impact of COVID-19 on vulnerable populations living in disaster prone areas in Africa.

The event will last for one (1) hour and will be made of a panel of experts from UN Women, ARC, the AUC, and Civil Society Organisations.
