Calls to organisations to send names of panelists at the Pre-conference in preparation of the 8th Africa Regional Platform and the 7th High-level Meeting on Disaster Risk Reduction

On 16 September 2021, at the WCA regional office of UN Women in Dakar/Senegal, the African Risk Capacity (ARC) and the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to advocate for gender equality for vulnerable women and men and ensure gender transformative and sustainable Disaster Risk Management (DRM) and Financing Framework.
